1. Can I build the tools myself?

Can I apply your T/Mould Technology in my own toolroom and for my own customers without having to depend on your toolroom?

Yes, CLS locking systems can be used by any experienced mouldmaking company for its own clients. You just purchase the patented locks in the required design and size from T/Mould Solution GmbH & CoKG and assemble the mould at your discretion. T/Mould will be happy to advise you and provide any essential support on request.

2. Which machines will I need?

My client/I, myself have up to now, only been running standard injection moulding machines using traditional technology in my moulding shop. I have the standard commercial moulding machines in my workshop at the moment with hydraulic and/or electro-pneumatic drive. Can I apply the TandemMoulds fitted with your locking systems to the machines I now have without any trouble and without having to reckon with large financial investments for converting my present machines?

Yes, you can start injection moulding with the T/Mould Technology on your present machines without having to make any alterations. Your machine manufacturer will supply you with the customized software. T/Mould will gladly assist you and provide handling tips when applying the T/Mould Technology.

3. How much does it cost?

How much more does a TandemMould cost (compared to two single moulds)?

General rule: the cost of two single moulds + 10 %.

4. And stack moulds?

What is the advantage over stack moulds?

TandemMoulds operate alternately.
Each parting level can be treated as a single mould. The injection parameters can be set individually at each parting level. Geometric configurations and injection volume can differ considerably on each parting level. Stack moulds don´t have this advantage.

5. Hot-runner

How and where can I get the right hot-runner?

All well-known hot-runner-manufacturers know the T/Mould Technology and can advise and help with selecting the best hot-runner.

6. Design

How does T/Mould support the design of TandemMoulds?

For your project we construct the basic design of the TandemMould. This includes:

• Tool dimensions
• Hot runner systems
• Parts position
• Standard screw connections

This 3D-data provides the best starting conditions for the construction.

If you wish so, we could even deliver the

• corresponding steel-construction.

7. I want to see it for myself !

Where can I observe a running TandemMould?

T/Mould will be able to name reference companies or even show you the mould set up and running operatively.

8. Where can I get help if required?

Is support and advice readily available to me when I assemble my TandemMould?

T/Mould not only offers advice but also compiles the tool design, if required.
