The CLS with four locking systems (CLS 1-4) in the smaller design for a 60 t tool

The Compact Locking System (CLS) controls the locking of the parting levels from within the mould tool.

Hydraulic cylinders activate the locking of each individual parting level.
For injection moulding machines up to 250 t the CLS-systems can be driven also pneumatically.

The modified software in the injection moulding machine is controlled by proximity switches.

The use of the different CLS-versions depend on the machine size.

CLS locking systems come in different designs

CLS 1-2 smaller design with two locking systems
u-shaped locking rod

CLS 1-4 smaller design with four locking systems
u-shaped locking rod

CLS 2-2 larger design with two locking systems
u-shaped locking rod

CLS 2-4 larger design with four locking systems
u-shaped locking rod

CLS 3 larger design with 2 to 8 locking systems
straight locking rod

CLS 4-4 very large design with four locking systems
straight locking rod

The CLS-3-versions (3-2, 3-4, 3-6 and 3-8) are suitable for centre plates with sufficient dimensions of minimum 250 mm, for CLS 4-4 minimum 400 mm.
